To kick off the new year, we are thrilled to present The Paper Show, a group exhibition highlighting the dynamic practices of Anahita Akhavan, Stefan Berg, Huy Lam, Suzanne Nacha, Meghan Price, and Badanna Zack. While these artists primarily work in mediums such as textiles, ceramics, and painting, paper plays a pivotal role in their creative processes, offering versatility and inspiration.

This exhibition celebrates the malleable nature of paper through diverse approaches. Badanna Zack’s papier-mâché installation showcases the sculptural possibilities of the medium, while Huy Lam's intricate hand-cut collages explore its delicacy and precision. Meghan Price employs her weaving techniques through a print-making process to present towering linear structures. Stefan Berg’s painted studies, rooted in plein air painting, and Anahita Akhavan’s watercolour collages reveal how paper serves as a foundation for composition and colour studies, bridging the gap to their larger works on canvas. Together, these works honour paper’s enduring role as both a material and a muse in contemporary artistic practice.
