We are excited to share that the work of Gordon Shadrach has been included in a group show curated by CCH Pounder, at Band of Vices in Los Angeles. Entitled Abstracted Reality, the exhibition looks to challenge the pervasiveness of our colonial cultivation by presenting artists who use Black bodies as their subjects, in ways that are neither abstracted or wholly based in realism.
In support of the African Millennium Foundation, Abstracted Reality runs until March 12, and features the work of Daniel Minter, Greg Bailey, and Khalifa Dieng among others.
