Krystle Silverfox

White Noise, Two Rivers Gallery

White Noise at Two Rivers Gallery, Price George, BC, brings together Krystle Silverfox and Annie MacDonell, two artists whose practices examine how meaning is shaped through images, cultural forms, histories, and the contexts in which they are encountered. Toronto-based artist Annie MacDonell works across photography, moving image, installation, and performance.

Using found and archival imagery, she reframes, fragments, and repositions images to explore how perception, memory, mediation, and context shape what we see and understand. Krystle Silverfox is a Northern Tutchone interdisciplinary visual artist and member of Selkirk First Nation (Wolf Clan), based in Whitehorse. Her practice explores Indigenous feminism, decolonial approaches, lived experience, and relationships to land. Drawing on Northern Tutchone culture, family knowledge, and Indigenous visual languages, she challenges colonial narratives and fixed expectations around Indigenous representation. Together, their works invite viewers to reconsider how meaning is produced, transformed, and reshaped through history, perception, and lived experience.

White Noise is on view at Two Rivers Gallery until January 17, 2027.
